1) Unadilla Mining Company of Colorado. Clear Creek County. No. 3250, issued for 100 shares in Oct. 1880. Signed by the president (FA White) and secretary. Not cancelled. Gilt underprint. Printed by Cortios, Macy & Co., NY. 6" x 10" Pinholes and folds. 2) Gorgeous certificate for The Zephyr Mining Company. Monarch District. Inc. in New York in 1881. No. 239. Punch cancelled through signatures. Issued for 500 shares to the company vice president on Dec. 23, 1881. Signed by the president and Jas. H. Kidder (secretary). Vignette of two men under a canopy operating a windlass over a mine shaft. Below is ornate seal with eagle. Black border with rust color design underprint. Printer: John S. Hulin, N.Y. Measures approx. 6.75" x 11". Glue residue from where it was pulled out of ledger. Company mines included the Zephyr, Bonnie Bell, and Ben Hill, all located in Taylor Gulch (6 miles NW of Marysville).
