No. 26, issued for 100 shares to John Manning on July 1st, 1880 in Chicago. Signed by president R.C. Garrabrant and secretary J. Hyde. Not cancelled. Black border and print, no vignette. Printed by Ed. Mendel, Chicago. Folds with separation along left border. 4.75 x 8.75" Not in Fossett or C&L. According to an article in the Colorado Miner, Jan. 8, 1881, the Panama lode was in the Lincoln Mining District, Clear Creek County. The sheriff was selling the property of the company (called "a foreign corporation"). 2) Boston & Chihuahua Mining Company. Unissued stock. 190-. Rare Summit County, Colorado location. 3) Crescent Silver Company of Cincinnati. Unissued 1800s stock. 4) Moore Mining & Smelting Co., Black Hawk, 1881, assay receipt. Sample had 69 ozs. of silver.
