Stock Certificate from the Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek Aerial Tramway Co. Incorporated in Colorado. Located in the Cripple Creek. Early certificate number 10 issued in 1910 to the Golden Cycle Mining Company. Size 11 by 8.25 inches. Not cancelled. Bottom right corner fold, rip upper left, etc. Average condition. Vignette of cupid with wings, floral design. This company was formed by the Golden Cycle Mining Company. Their plan was to construct an aerial tramway from the Cripple Creek mines to the reduction mills in Colorado City, a distance of 16-17 miles, for a cost of about $500,000. They argued it would be a cost efficient way to transport and then process low-grade ore. It was never completed.
