Location of Mines: Sawtooth District, Alturas County, Idaho (printed at bottom center). Inc. in New York. No. 723, issued for 100 shares to EH Haight in 1882. Signed by vice-president Cortright and secretary Cortright. Not Cancelled. Brown border, black print. Many pinholes, folds, some soiling. 4 x 9.25" According to E&MJ Vol. 34, the company owned the Columbia, Beaver, Little Frankie, and Lucky Boy mines. The Columbia has 4 tunnels "all in good ore" containing quartz, black sulphurets, ruby, and native silver; the Beaver has one tunnel and 8 men; and the Lucky Boy is very promising (1882, pg. 74).
