This nice grouping of three items includes two advertising cards and one blue booklet published 1892. Originally Pope Manufacturing Co. imported bicycles from England to Boston, Mass. Circa 1878, they were building replicas with Weed Sewing Machine Co., Hartford CT. The two color cards feature a bike rider on each, one female and one males. The wheels on the bikes can rotate and reveal different numbers along the spokes. The blue booklet is from 1892 and discusses why you should ride a bicycle and why it should be a Columbia. Includes four illustrations of bicyclists.
