Signed by two long time, early Nevada residents!. #116 for 10 shares issued to D. Radlich on September 22, 1863 at Gold Hill. Located in "Gold Hill District, 1860." Incorporated on May 1, 1863. Signed by president J. C. Corey and secretary N. A. H. Ball. Power of Att'y revenue stamp. Vignette of soldier with long rifle, tent and drum. Also a revealing young Native American girl. Fishbourne, Lithog., S. F. printer. Includes research on and examples by Fishbourne. At one time stock in this company was asking $50 a share on the Washoe Stock and Exchange Board. But ten months later was offered in a sheriff's sale for unpaid taxes! The certificate itself was delinquent for an unpaid assessment five months after purchase. N. A. H. Ball arrived at Gold Hill in 1862. He was a member of the 1863 and 1864 Constitutional Conventions and was associated with the Yellow Jacket, American Flat, Mary Ann, Diaz, Silver Heels Gold Hill and Virginia Divide mines - among others. James Corey oversaw the Rock Point, Logan and Holmes and Phoenix mines and was superintendent of the Alpha, Imperial, Delaware and Ophir mines.
