Four different early items. 1) Two items from the 1903 Comstock Carnival: a pin (1.75" diameter) with some dents and chipping, but bright colors; and a very rare postcard from the carnival (mailed a year later in 1904). 2) Trade card for M. Gilligan, Wholesale Dealer in Boots & Shoes, 68 South C. Street (Opp. Wells, Fargo & Co.). The side text is printed on was once glued in album. Reverse is color illustration of two girls in a giant shoe. 3" x 4.5" Listed at this address in 1886 McKinney's. 3) Business card for the famous Crystal Bar, William H. Marks Proprietor. c.1920s. "See the Old Washoe Club Register and the Historic Sparkling Chandeliers." Reverse lists stats and output of the Comstock Lode. 2.5" x 4.25" in very good condition. (Prag Collection)
