Lot of 16. Great variety! Fraternal, county, and mining companies are represented. 1) Three Savage Mining Company checks: No. 293, issued to Comstock Tunnel Co. in 1892, cut canceled; No. 513, issued to Virginia & Gold Hill Water Co. in 1898, red 2 cent adhesive revenue stamp, signed by Gorham as supt.; and No. 22, issued to Gould & Curry Mining Co. in 1898, signed by Gorham as supt., red 2 cent adhesive revenue stamp. 2) Unused Nevada Territory piece. Voucher from White & Murphy Gold and Silver Mining Co. Blue paper. 3) Sierra Nevada Mexican and Union Shaft Co. check. Green font. Dated April 8, 1892. Issued to Wheeler, Hall & Co. Cut cancel, fold lower right corner, and remnants of other document on reverse. 4) Five Storey County receipts from the County Auditor's Office; two are red and from 1886, three are blue and from 1887. 5) Five receipts and one warrant from the Virginia Odd Fellows' Building Association. Receipts have vignettes and are made out to other lodges (Wildey Lodge No. 1, Mt. Davidson Lodge No. 3, No.12) and merchants Brown & Tassell. Signed by either Tisdale or Guggenheim.
