Lot of 7 different. Even though these are unissued, there are still some rarities here. 1) Brunswick Mill. Sheet of two unissued 1870s checks, RN-G, blue print, Britton & Rey. The Brunswick Mill was located on the north bank of the Carson River, one mile east of Empire. Built in 1864. Purchase by Mackay/Fair Pacific Mill & Mining Co. in 1875 to process Con. Virginia ore. 2) Devil's Gate Mill. Very rare. Bank of California, RN-D, 1870s dateline. Partly filled in and repurposed in 1906 with purple ink. Located at Devil's Gate in Silver City. It had 12 stamps and 24-ton capacity in the 1870s. 3) Juniata Cons. Mining Co. RN-D, 1875. Mine located in Aurora. 4) Haynie & Co., RN-D, 1870s. Lumber merchant in Virginia City. 5) Savage Mining Company. 1880s, Wells Fargo. 6) New York & Washoe Mining Co. RN-B. New York, 1860s dateline. Washoe County mine. 7) Nevada Bank of San Francisco, 1870s, RN-F. Bank was formed by the Bonanza Kings.
