This is a 11"x 14" albumen photo of Confederate spy, Rose O'Neal Greenhow (1813-1864), a socialite in Washington D. C., she used her connections to pass along military information to the Confederacy. Jefferson Davis said she was responsible for the South winning the First Battle of Bull Run in 1861.
