A few extra notes about E.B. Gage, courtesy of one of our Holabird friends.

That's actually the signature of E.B. Gage, who had been Wyatt Earp's money man during his Tombstone troubles.
Gage helped bail the Earps and Doc Holliday out of jail during the legal troubles that they had following the Gunfight near the O.K. Corral. During Wyatt's Vendetta Gage aided the Earp posse (hunting down those that Wyatt believed wounded Virgil Earp and assassinated Morgan Earp) with $1,000.00.
He was a major player in Tombstone's halcyon days as well its later decline.
Gage later took over the mines at Congress A.T., before reopening Tombstone mining in a real way just after the turn of the century.
