Four unused pictorial pay vouchers for the Connecticut Arms Co. Feature a vignette of two men forging swords and blades. Before the Civil War, the company made axles for wagons. During the war, they assembled arms with parts made by subcontractors, therefore needing little more than workbenches and hand tools to adapt to their new lines of production. Measure 3" x 13" with stub attached. Three of the four have stub attached. Very good condition. (Prag Collection)
