Numbers 203 and 204 issued in 1901 to SS Schurriner(?). One has a 50c document stamp on the other the stamp is missing the stamp. Signed by John R Miller president and ? secretary. This mine was incorporated in 1901. In 1901 Moody's Manuel of Corporation Securities reported that this company had purchased all of the property of the Royal Gold Mining Company. On site is a 40 stamp well equipped with all the necessary machinery. However, the 1902 United States Investor in answer to an inquiry says the company is still in existence, but the mines are not active. They are hoping to get their mine in Reading, Pennsylvania up and running in the Spring of 1902. But their mine in Georgia is not well thought of and an investment in the stock in not thought advisable. Too bad the owner of these stocks did not get this information. The stocks are in identical excellent condition. Both include a dog ear in the upper right corner that is barely discernable. No other edge issues, pin holes, rips, tears or staining.
