1909. This cover has two stamps: "Unclaimed" and "No Change of Address." Original address has been crossed out and another entered. Cancels include Coppereid, Lovelocks and Oakland. Coppereid as a Nevada post office is a Rarity-6. Strike is Excellent. Earliest known Coppereid postmark. Manuscript cc of John T Reid of Lovelock who named Coppereid. Coppereid history and Reid biography (William Jennings Bryan enthusiast, surveyor, mining superintendent, he found a body and accessories in the early 1900's which the Nevada Historical Society showed to be three pre-1840's Piute Indians).
