Non-issued Bond #000, labeled as Specimen, for $1000. All redemption coupons intact and stamped specimen. Slight yellowing along fold lines and edges, small punch holes at signature lines and each coupon. The Coronado Railroad was incorporated in California and operated around San Diego bay beginning in 1888. In ran passenger service until the 1940s, and freight until the late 20th century. It was also heavily utilized by the armed forces during WWII. Though the company is gone, the State granted a special historical designation preserving the line itself.
