Lot of 11. These items tell the story of a lease to process the tailings from the Goldfield Cons. and the man who was trying to undertake the project. 1) Letter from office of George Wingfield, 1925, to Mark G. Bradshaw, re: Bradshaw's application for a lease on the tailings of the Goldfield Consolidated Mines Co. Wingfield is taking up the proposition with the board members. Signed by Wingfield. 2) Carbon copy of letter (presumably the one referenced by previous item) requesting a 10 year lease on the tailings of the Goldfield Cons. Offers a 10% royalty. Not signed. 3) Unsigned carbon copy of letter (again presumably from Bradshaw) to (Herman J.) Witte, Oct. 20, 1925, re: the approval of the lease to process the tailings. "After eleven years applying to Mr. Wingfield for the Goldfield Con tailings pond, he has finally agreed to let me have them..." 4) Unsigned carbon copy (presumably from Bradshaw) to Wingfield, Dec. 1925, re: traveling to promote the tailings project. Also states that he will incorporate as Bradshaw Inc. 5) Oct. 27, 1925 letter from Witte to Bradshaw requesting further details of the tailings project (including five questions). Signed by Witte. 6) Western Union Telegram received at Tonopah, Nov 2, 1925 from Witte to Bradshaw re: check and still requesting more details about tailings project. 7) Nov. 16th, 1925 handwritten letter from Witte to Bradshaw re: tailings project and possible investors. 8) Jan. 1st, 1926 Western Union telegram from Witte to Bradshaw. Will be ready to issue shares for Bradshaw Inc. as soon as meeting held with assignment of lease. 9) 1928 typed letter from Bradshaw Incorporated to the Nevada Tax Commission. The letter attempts to provide more details about the seasonal nature of the operation and operating expenses and is a response to "dissatisfaction expressed by the State Board of Equalization." 10) Three modern color photo prints showing the Goldfield Cons.
