A group of about 31 items of printed letterheads and billheads with some personal correspondence, all from or related to Sterling, a present-day ghost town in Madison County, Montana. Today the ruins of the Clark & Upson mill can be found as a testament to the gold mining that began in the area in the 1860s. The site is now on a privately owned ranch.
