A group of about 15 items of printed letterheads and billheads with some personal correspondence, all from or related to Stockett, an unincorporated community in Cascade County, Montana, southwest of Great Falls. The manager of the Cottonwood Coal Company, Lewis Stockett lent his name to the town. The coal mines shut down when railroad trains began using diesel fuel and homes switched over to natural gas for heating. About 160 people live in the area today.
