A group of about 40 items of printed letterheads and billheads with some personal correspondence, all from or related to Toston, a small town in Broadwater County, Montana, southeast of Helena. It was named for Thomas Toston who set up a ferry across the Missouri River. A smelter served nearby gold and silver mines from 1883 to 1899. About 100 people still live there.
