This collection of letters and a woman's manifesto describes women's rights to vote and persuade politics in a man's political world. Mrs. Philips was the Chairman of the Democratic Central Committee in Landusky, Montana. c.1940-1950. Her husband, Ben M. Philips was referred to as Senator in these correspondences, however, research has not found him at that capacity. Montanans will probably know the details. About 40 pieces to review.
