Proclamation dealing with the passing of counterfeit Convention-Thalers, April 22, 1771, Frankfurt, Germany. Original document in superb condition. Accompanied by a one-page English translation. Very rare. Note: The Conventionsthaler (Conventionstaler, Konventionstaler) was a standard silver coin of the Holy Roman Empire. It was introduced in 1754 and contained one tenth of a Cologne mark of silver (text from Wikipedia).
