Cast copper Court Exchange sign with 2x 5/8" round holes. Probably from the Court Exchange Saloon in Leadville, CO. We have fantasy saloon match cases in this auction from the Court Exchange Saloon on 513 Har. Ave in Leadville, Colorado as well as tokens from the saloon. We believe this sign was dug in the Leadville area. A 1908 Directory from Leadville lists the Court Exchange Saloon on 513 Harrison Avenue, Hemlock. Hemlock must have been a very small township or neighborhood in or adjoining Leadville. Green patina. 16.25x3".
