A large fossil plate of crinoids, known as 'sea lilies'. These ancient organisms had a large 'flower' on a long, segmented stem, and were in the same family as modern starfish, sea urchins, and sand dollars. This plate is partially curated; an expert could complete this picture. Large crinoid flower, 8"x7", is flanked by numerous crinoid stems and other flowers; this was clearly part of a large, thick crinoid forest. This fossil is 250-450 million years old and originate from China. 19" x 18", 2" thick.
