A large fossil plate of crinoids, known as 'sea lilies'. These ancient organisms had a large 'flower' on a long, segmented stem, and were in the same family as modern starfish, sea urchins, and sand dollars. Mostly uncurated; lots of stem pieces, needs work. The reverse side has significantly more stem parts as well as the edge of a very nice 'flower' on an uncurated edge. This fossil is 250-450 million years old and originates from China. 23" x 18", 2" thick.
