Lot of 4. 1) JS Neall & Co., Miner's Sampling Works pictorial billhead, 1898. Billed to the Mary McKinney MC for one assay of gold ore. Vignette of the assay office! Missing bottom right corner. 2) Miners' Assay Office, JS Neall Assayer & Chemist billhead. 1895. Billed to Lindsay & Parker for three gold assays. 3) WG Eldred, Assayer, Anaconda, Colorado. 1901. Billed to the Anaconda Mining Co. for assaying services. 4) Small assay receipt for WG Eldred, Anaconda, 1902. Assayed at 1.6 ounces of gold per ton. Anaconda was one of the many mining camps in the Cripple Creek mining district. Located in Squaw Gulch. Had a bad fire in 1904 that the town never recovered from. Townsite now mostly buried by tailings from open pit mining.
