Lot of 2 different. 1)Anaconda Gold Mining Company. Stock no. 2541, issued for 355 shares to JA Whiting in 1892. Signed by David Moffat as president and RH Reid as secretary. Punch and stamp cancelled. Gold border and seal, black print. Folds, pinholes, discoloration on left border. Moffat was a Colorado railroad and mining tycoon. 2) Isabella Gold Mining Company. Stock no. 7115, issued for 1,000 shares to D. Chisolm in 1896. Signed by president Percy Hagerman and the secretary. Punch cancelled. Orange border and eagle vignette. Folds, pinholes, staining on left side. Percy Hagerman was a businessman, outdoorsman, and well-known mountaineer who painted the mountains he was climbing. Hagerman Peak near Aspen is named for him. He inherited properties from his father, James J Hagerman, who owned and sold the Colorado Midland Railway Company and was an investor in the gold mines of Cripple Creek.
