1. The Lady Campbell Gold Mining Company, incorporated in Cripple Creek, Colorado.
Cert. no. 59 issued to A.B. Whitmon for 3500 shares on Nov 14, 1899 in Cripple Creek.
Signed by E.N. Babbin as secretary and Maurice Finn(?) as president.
Very attractive design in maroon print, very detailed border and a vignette portrait of Lady Campbell. Printed by The Western Litho Co, Denver, size 7.75 x 10.5". Cancelled on Mar 4, 1901.
The Lady Campbell claim was located on Galena Hill. Also owned the Jorado (Galena Hill), the Emma Abbott (Womack Hill), and Jack the Ripper (Mineral Hill). [Ref: Cripple Creek Manual] (Al Adams Gold Rush Memorabilia Collection)

2. The Mary McKinney Mining Company, incorporated 1892 in Colorado. Cert. no. 1292 issued to J. . Cox for 500 shares on Nov 17, 1906 in Colorado Springs. Signed by president Frank F. Castello and T.J.Fox as secretary. Orange border and seal, printed by Smith Brooks Printing Co., Colorado size 73/4 x11'. Cancel hole punched through seal and signatures, but still legible.
Mary McKinney Mine was owned by Frank Castello, who and two other men claimed in 1891 and turned out to be the top producing mine of its time, with about $11 million worth old gold at the price of $20 per ounce. When Frank died in 1915, his son took over the company, but sold to Golden Cycle Corporation in the 1930's. (Ref: Hills 1900 pg. 318/Levine, 1998, pg. 24-5/Sprague 1953)
Includes a post card of the Mary McKinney Mine and other gold mines between Cripple Creek and Victor, it has a very clear view of the mine site around 1910, in excellent condition.

3. The Work Mining and Milling Company, incorporated in Colorado. Certificate no. 13475 issued to Mrs. Kate Ezekiel for 1000 shares on Jan 12, 1907 in Colorado Springs. Signed by Arnold Nydegger(?) as secretary and J. Arthur Crunell(?) as president; countersign on left by the assistant secretary. Blue print by Out West PTG & Stay Co., Colorado Springs. Cancelled on Feb 1, 1909.

4. The Carbonate Hill Gold Mining and Milling Company, incorporated in Colorado. Cert. No. 245 issued to H.W. Davis for 7000 shares on April 19, 1899 in Colorado Springs. Signed by president W. A. Davis, and by H W. Davis on the left of the certificate for transferring his funds, and on the back. Pamphlet style cert. 3 fold.
Brown, fine border; very detailed vignette in the center of the iconic American eagle sitting on a shield, with arrows and olive branches in his claws.

5. The Prudential Gold Mining Company, incorporated in Colorado. Vert. no. 144 issued to J. E. Boyer for 100 shares on Feb 27, 1896 in Denver. Signed by G. M. Boss as secretary and E.L. Beckwith as president. Pamphlet type cert., 3 fold, printed by The Denver Lith.Co., Denver. Front shows detailed and artistic border with 2 vignettes. left one is a landscape portrait of the area, the right one a depiction of miners working underground. Background has fine printed, golden lines; large golden seal on left bottom.
On the back, another finely detailed vignette of more underground workings showing 6 miners.
