The upper area of map shows The Mining Investors Claim Map of the Cripple Creek District. Compiled and brought up to date by T.R. Countryman, U.S. Deputy Mineral Surveyor. Especially for the Mining Investor January 1, 1911. Located in Teller, and Freemont Counties, Colorado. Highlighted areas include the Eruptive Area; Anaconda, Independence, Victor, and Lawrence mines; and the Roosevelt, El Paso, and Ophelia Tunnels. The area surrounded in pink is eruptive rock fissured by eruptions and contains many veins and dykes, while the yellow areas showed the principal ore zones developed up to the present time. The lower area is a Longitudinal Section of the Roosevelt Tunnel, which began in 1907. Beacon, Raven, and Bull Hill are noted; while several shafts including the El Paso, Nicholls, Moose, Gold Coin, and Blue Bird are identified. Gross production of the district up to January 1, 1912 was estimated at three hundred million dollars, primarily gold. Finally, a thorough list of the principal producing mines and their approximate gross production to date is presented.
