Rare, Arizona mining stock issued in 1890. Very attractive. The company operated in the Globe mining district in Gila County, Arizona. Great vignettes including a blacksmith at top right and many miners down the shaft at the left side. Beautiful, green underprint stating that shares were "$2 Each". This is very unusual. I have seen thousands of mining stocks and never have seen shares price at $2. The mine was located in 1881 in Arizona Territory and was surveyed in 1884 by the deputy surveyor. The Cross Cut mine was located 1/2 mile NE of Cox and Coplin Mine, 1/2 mile SE of the Mexican, 1/4 mile W of the Silver Joe mine. The lode was 1500 feet in length. Condition of the certificate is good. Has fold lines. Uncanceled. [ Gila County Arizona
