Rare. No. 1000, issued for 500 shares to HC Brainard in 1888. Signed by president Oscar Townsend and the secretary. Not cancelled. Black border and print. Three vignettes: mine hoisting scene (left), allegorical women (center) and blacksmith (right). Pinholes, deep folds. We found notice of them owing taxes on the Belva Mine, Cross Cut Mine, Little Tom Mine, and New Translation Mine in the 1890s.
