This cut square autograph is of 1st Lt. Donald McIntosh of Company G, 7th Cav. Born a Canadian with a military background, fought with Custer at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. Killed in Action but later re-exhumed several times. He now rests with his wife in Arlington National Cemetery. As late as 1995 his wedding ring, engraved with his and wife's initials and wedding date was discovered at the battle sight. A rare find for an autograph.
