There are two paperback books relating to the Battle of the Little Big Horn. "She Watched Custer's Last Stand" by Thomas Marquis. The by-line is" Her Story, Interpreted in 1927"; pp.8 in small type print. Copyrighted in 1933. The woman is "Kate Bighead" her anglicized name. She recounts the battle of the Washita and the Little Big Horn. There are several stark revelations in this book. The Author, Dr. Thomas Bailey Marquis would open a museum in Hardin, Montana with artifacts including weapons used at the battlefield.
The second book is "The Mystery of Miss Adams" by Francis B. Taunton. paperback, pp. 18, 1991. The book centers around the testimony of Miss Mary Adams, General Custer's cook, that she overheard Gnl. Terry's instructions to Custer indicating a possible Indian encounter and that Custer HAD followed orders leading to the Battle of the Little Big Horn. It is a controversial document/testimony 'because Mary Adam's presents on the battlefield was not known to Mrs. Custer. In the years following the Custer Battle, Mrs. (Libby) Custer published several books affirming her late husband's reputation. Both books are in excellent condition. [
