A bound Precinct Register of voters in Custer County, Oklahoma c. 1933-36. Custer County was originally from Cheyenne land & was called G County. It was renamed Custer County from General George Armstrong Custer who had massacred the Southern Cheyenne Indians at the Battle of Wasita 20 miles west in Roger Mills County & was killed at the Battle of Little Bighorn AKA Custer's Last Stand. This register is Depression period & shows signs of aging with a small chunk missing on top left back cover, including from some of the pages.
