This lot has a photograph of Goes Ahead taken by Rodman Wanamaker in 1913. It depicts Goes Ahead a Crow scout for General Custer standing in full dress. The photo is 4 in. x 7 in. on a backing card of 6.5 in. X 9.75 in. in excellent condition. The lot also includes a court document by J.E. Edwards Indian Agent of the Crow Reservation for Goes Ahead (plaintiff) for payment never received dated 1901. This two page document is signed by Goes Ahead with his "X" signature and actual name written for him. A water spot over one letter on the signature.
