(Lt.) Henry Bullhead was an Indian police officer that arrested and later shot Chief Sitting Bull during his attempted escape. Henry was also shot during this conflict and later died from his wounds along with five other officers. A rare photograph at roughly 4 in. X 5. Light color contrast but good quality photo. Henry is wearing his beaded moccasins, otter skin hair wraps, a peace pipe with a quilled and beaded pipe bag.
