Great RPPC of "Dad Lee" standing in front of a makeshift casino. Card mailed in 1936. Sender notes to his mother that he passes "this old boys place about every 2 months-just a refreshment stand out in the desert-lots of old curios laying around." Dad Lee operated a trading post along Old Route 40 from the 1920s to the 1930s. He claimed to be the real Buffalo Bill until his death in 1936. A fascinating Western character.City: OreanaCounty: State: NVDate:
