Uncirculated. Obverse shows a rural farm scene. October 1892 Danbury Fair. Holed for hanging around the neck about half the time. Rare. Aluminum. 39mm. This medal qualifies under the terms of definition for a So-Called Dollar, but is not listed in Hibler-Kappan. In the days of Hibler-Kappan and Weber (unlisted co-author), holed pieces suspended from a hanger did not count. But collectors today say they do. The rest of the attributes qualify: it commemorates a fair or Expo; it is not a storecard; it is dollar sized. State: City:Danbury Date:1892 ID#44019
