This is a nearly 13-pound specimen of high-grade ore blasted from a working face of the Deer Trail Mine in the Mount Baldy District in the Tushar Mountains near Marysvale, Piute County, Utah. This mine is a polymetallic ore body with components of both manto and skarn mineralization. This very dense specimen is approximately 8.5 inches long and 5 inches tall.
