Lot of 2. Cover and letterhead for The Denver Bar, Cavanaugh & Marco, Proprietors. Fine Wines, Liquors and Cigars. Cor. Pikes Peak and Railroad Sts. Dateline Florence, Colo., February 24th, 1914. Message to John Hyssong in Canon City regarding his order. 11 x 8.25" Folds. Cover is a corner advertising cover with a tied Florence cancel. In 1905, it was announced that Thomas Cavanaugh had opened a new place of business, The Denver Bar (saloon). In April 1913, the Denver Bar was broken into and robbed for $175 in currency and 3 or 4 bottles of whiskey.
