Lot of four. 1) 1900 stock for 10 shares to LH Niles & Company. Signed by secretary Edgar Booth and Arthur (?) for the Board of Trustees. Vignette of train running along the base of a mountain chain. Hole punched cancelled. LH Niles was a prominent, "arbitrage house" from New York in the late 19th Century. These companies make a business of buying and selling between the two markets (England and America). 2) 1908 stock certificate to Miss Emma Forster for ten shares. Vignette of prospectors looking for gold. Some pinholes and dog ears. Overall a nice specimen. 3) 1914 green stock certificate issued to Harris, Winthrop & Company for 10 shares. Signed by secretary Howland and vice president Jesse White. English 2 shilling revenue stamp. Vignette of railroad in river canyon. 4) Sinking Fund Gold Bond for the Denver & Rio Grande Western RR. 1924. Number C1714. Coupons 25 through 63 still attached.
