Lot of 3 different. Included: 1913 to A.E. Weidenhamer, yardmaster CB & Q Railroad, signed by the general manager; 1927 to F.C. Matthews, Midland Terminal Railway, signed by GP Fuller; and 1928 to Carl R. Gray, president of the Union Pacific Systems. This railroad began in 1902 as the Denver, Northwestern and Pacific Railroad formed by David Moffat and others to connect Denver and Salt Lake City. At a cost of $75,000 a mile, it cost Moffat his fortune, and he died while trying to raise more money for it. It reorganized as the Denver & Salt Lake Railway after Moffat's death and continued westward. However, it only ever reached Craig, Colorado, less than half the distance to Salt Lake City.
