Two different style passes both issued in 1889. 1) No. 248, issued to Herman Silver (California Southern & California Central Railroad). Printed signature of C.F. Meek as general manager. Heavily soiled. Blank reverse. 2) No. A446, issued to A.C. Bassett (N. Division of Southern Pacific). Cardstock with toning. Completed in 1887, they also had a contract with Southern Pacific at Ft. Worth. Col. C.F. Meek was a very respected railroad man in Colorado. Eventually this railroad became the Colorado & Southern in the 1890s.
