Stock Certificate from the Denver, Western & Pacific. Incorporated in New York. Certificate number 93 issued on February 3rd, 1882 to Fredrick L. Ames. Signed by president John S. Crooks, and James Huntington Rickley. Printed by Franklin Bank Co. Size 12 by 8.5 inches. Nice condition, Canceled. Vignette of train by a pond with a mountain in back. Receipt included. This company graded north from Denver and that was it. We think the grade no further than Louisville. Louisville was approaching Boulder. The grade seemed to be used by other railroads at a future date, but never this road.
