The Diamond Sawmill was in Diamond Valley near the cabin of Snowshoe Thompson. The Hawkins family owned properly here - I believe it was the Diamond Sawmill. The artifact comes directly from the Hawkins family. Keith Mulcahey, a prolific Nevada digger, found it on the site of the sawmill and marked it 'DS'. Billhead is 1898 I(sadore) Cohn proprietor.
