Remarkable photograph, possibly the best known view of a dice game in a major gambling hall. Sign behind the dealer reads "The dice guaranteed to be Square." Fifteen men crowded around the action. A mirror for Lemp's beer hangs on the wall, along with a framed nude. Two stuffed animals are on display. Photographer unknown, but the back is stamped "Lichtdruck Chromo / Artochrom", which means it was a collotype photo. Reverse also has pen and pencil notations saying this is "a craps game in the West", "1890's", "Coshise[sic] County," and two number stamps. Thus, it is possible this in an Arizona scene. 8 x 6 inches, with upper corners snipped off.
