Vignette of train on top third. This company, like many others of this time period, started small and may have only lasted a few years and maybe in a limited number of states. No information on the company as to dates of operation, owners, even states in some cases, earlier name and if they consolidated with another company, went into bankruptcy or just closed. Only mention of Dickson Car-Wheel Co is in lawsuit against United Mexican States. Dickson Car Wheel Company v. United Mexican States: FACTS: 1) In 1912, National Railways of Mexico (Mexican company) and Dickson Car Wheel Co. (US Company), entered into a contract where the Dickson Car-Wheel Co made several deliveries of car wheels to National Railways of Mexico. The deliveries were made on various dates between Dec. 13, 1913 and Jan. 6, 1914. Mexican government took over railways of the National Railways lasting until Dec. 1925 when returned to private management. Dickson Car requested payment from Wheel Co. National Railways Co. for the merchandise, total price was $4,126.64. Co. never paid, alleging that owing to the seizure of the railways it received no revenue for the operation of its lines for which reason it was unable at that time to meet its obligations.
