Ingham, G. Thomas. Digging Gold Among the Rockies or, Exciting Adventures of Wild Camp Life in Leadville, Black Hills, and the Gunnison Country. Hubbard Brothers, 1888. Thomas Ingham was the US deputy mineral surveyor for Colorado, the Dakotas, and Montana, and this is his excellent first-hand account of a number of the mining regions in the Western United States. While the book appears to be mostly about the Colorado, Montana, and Dakota area, there is a significant section on California and Nevada. Hardbound with red and gold original cover boards in very fine condition. This is a very tightly bound indicating it has rarely been opened and used.
