An interesting array of covers and letters addressed to Ruth Disney (Beecher) Walt Disney's sister and to Elias Disney, Walt and Ruth's father. There are four airmail covers addressed to Beecher with Disney Studios letterhead and two typed letters from the Mayor of Portland, Oregon (where she was residing at the time), thanking her for her support of the anti-Japanese American sentiment at the time (1942). There is also a handwritten letter from Flora Disney (her mother) congratulating her on the arrival of a baby boy and to let her know that she has told Walt, Roy and the rest of the boys. There is also a telegram of congratulations sent by Walt & Lillian Disney to Ruth. Also included is a cover hand addressed to Elias Disney (Walt's father) with the quote "I am thine O'Lord" above his name. It is addressed to his home in Kansas City and postmarked July, 1918 when Walt was probably driving an ambulance for The Red Cross during WWI. This is a real find for Disney collectors. Rare beyond belief. Please see photos for more detail and condition.
