A lead ingot from the Doe Run Company in Doe Run, Missouri. Measures approximately 2.75" x .5" x .5", and weighs 112.6 grams. Doe Run had its start in 1880 as a lead-mining town. Lead is mined from 1,250 feet underground in the Viburnum Trend, where some of the world's highest-purity lead deposits are found.
