According to E&MJ Vol. 61 (Jan. 11, 1896), the company had just been sold at auction in New York. The property consisted of 300,000 acres of land in the District of Abasolo, including 10 silver mines, two ranches, a reduction works, and 14 houses. A Mexican prospector named Don Enrique Miller had discovered the claims and was made the manager of the company when it was organized. A fire in 1891 destroyed the works and the company had suspended operation and let the mines fill with water. VF. Uncanceled.
